If your project already has a Dockerfile, gy detects it and uses it verbatim — no generation, no assumptions.

Deploy

cd my-containerized-app
gy deploy

Point at a specific Dockerfile

gy deploy --dockerfile ./path/to/Dockerfile

Examples

# Use the Dockerfile in the current directory
gy deploy

# Use a Dockerfile elsewhere in a monorepo
gy deploy --dockerfile ./services/api/Dockerfile

# Explicit port and tier
gy deploy --port 8080 --tier t3

Tips

• Expose your app’s port in the Dockerfile (EXPOSE 8080) or pass --port.
• Bind to 0.0.0.0 inside the container so the runtime can route traffic.
• Keep images lean — the build and upload happen automatically after your Dockerfile runs.
