Quick start
This guide takes you from a fresh install to a deployed, public app in three steps.
1. Install the CLI

gy --version2. Authenticate

gy signup3. Deploy your app
Section titled “3. Deploy your app”Navigate to any project — a Node.js app, a Python service, a static site — and run:
gy deploygy detects your stack, generates a Dockerfile if needed, and deploys. When it finishes,
you’ll see your live URL:

What just happened
Section titled “What just happened”- A
.gy.jsonfile was written to your project root. It stores your app’s name, project, port, tier, and environment — so future commands “just know” which app you mean. - Your app is reachable at a public URL immediately.
