Custom domains

Every app gets an auto-generated *.hosted.ghaymah.systems URL. You can replace it with your own domain for a production-ready endpoint.

Set a custom domain

Section titled “Set a custom domain”
Terminal window
gy config set domain api.mydomain.com
gy config sync

Or at deploy time:

gy deploy --domain api.mydomain.com

Configure DNS

Section titled “Configure DNS”

Point your domain at Ghaymah with a CNAME record:

CNAME api your app’s *.hosted.ghaymah.systems URL

Replace the value with the URL shown by gy info my-app.

Verify

Section titled “Verify”
Terminal window
gy info my-app

DNS propagation can take a few minutes to a few hours. Once resolved, HTTPS is provisioned automatically.
