Installation

The Ghaymah CLI is a single static binary installed to ~/ghaymah/bin. The installer detects your platform and architecture, downloads the right build, verifies it, and adds it to your PATH.

Requirements

• Linux or macOS (Intel or Apple Silicon)
• curl, chmod, and mkdir (present on virtually every system)

Install

curl -sSL https://cliv2.ghaymah.systems/install.sh | bash

The installer:

1. Detects your OS (linux / darwin) and architecture (amd64 / arm64).
2. Downloads the matching binary and verifies its SHA-256 checksum when one is published.
3. Adds ~/ghaymah/bin to your shell configuration (~/.zshrc, ~/.bashrc, or ~/.bash_profile).

Note

Restart your shell — or run source ~/.bashrc (or equivalent) — so the updated PATH takes effect.

Verify the install

gy --version
# Ghaymah CLI v0.0.24

gy whoami
# ✅ Logged in as you@example.com

Update

The CLI auto-updates by default. To update manually:

curl -sSL https://cliv2.ghaymah.systems/install.sh | bash -s -- --update

To opt out of automatic updates, pass --no-auto-update on any command.

Uninstall

rm ~/ghaymah/bin/gy
